Mindy-CurnuttMindy Curnutt is a 3X Microsoft Data Platform MVP. She is also a Trimble Distinguished Engineer, the VP of Information Management at TMW Systems and an Idera Ace. She helps support almost 1,500 companies in the logistics and trucking industry using SQL Server as their database platform. Within the transportation industry, Mindy is well known as THE “Go-To” person when it comes to SQL Server questions or issues.  Her specialties are hardware, configuration, scalability and performance tuning.

Mindy has been actively involved in the SQL Server Community for over a decade and has become a well known speaker within the SQL and Transportation Management communities.  She presented at the SQLPASS Summits in 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2015 and was honored as the September, 2016 SQLPass Outstanding Volunteer.   Mindy spoke at her local North Texas SQL Server User Group in 2002, 2003 & 2015, and numerous SQLSaturday chapters throughout North America.

In 2013 and 2014 she was a Team Lead for the SQLPASS Summit Abstract Review Process. In 2015 and 2016 served (and is serving) as one of the 2-3 SQLPASS Summit Program Managers. Mindy was a SME for both the SQL 2012 and 2014 Microsoft Certification Exams.  In 2016 she delivered a speech during the Keynote about the Future of Big Data in Transportation at TMW Systems & PeopleNet’s In.Sight event – “Data Quality and Reference Data“. She mentors others, helping to educate and promote scalable and sustainable SQL Server architecture and design. She is an enthusiastic and effective participant within the SQL Server community, giving her time and resources to help it improve and grow.
